QRBLOCK

An event-exclusive platform where attendees at offline events can instantly claim crypto by scanning a QR code and entering their wallet address. Built for Korea Blockchain Week (KBW), designed for a simple claiming experience accessible to anyone without complex wallet connections. Prepared for on-site KBW events with multiple partner companies, but the project was unfortunately cancelled just before launch due to QR code scams becoming a social issue at the time.

ROLE

Handled full development including Solana smart contract development, frontend, and backend.

RETROSPECT

A technically complete product that couldn't launch due to external environmental factors. Facing the unpredictable variable of QR scam issues reinforced the understanding that market environment and timing significantly impact project success beyond technical completeness.
