Dokebi

An NFT project built for the Solana Hackathon that grew beyond a simple PFP collection into a community-driven DApp gaming ecosystem. Received praise from a Solana founder for its "novel idea," and collaborated with major Solana projects including SMB, GGG, Ghost DAO, FFF, and GentleMonke. Listed on the Solana upcoming projects list, gaining significant attention in the Web3 scene.

ROLE

Single-handedly handled all technical aspects except planning. Responsible for smart contract development, website, minting page, DApp development, Discord bot, and Firebase server integration.

FEATURES

Donate to Earn — A gamified competition where users donate to NFT projects and battle. Winners take profits, driving organic viral growth through inter-community competition.

Dokebi Ball — A revenue-sharing game where community holders earn from in-game fees. Designed to maximize community retention.

Discord Bot & Community — Built a custom bot integrating DApp games into Discord, fostering active community engagement directly within the server.

Minting — Executed a free mint using a self-built contract and minting page, selling out within 5 seconds. Achieved a floor price of 2.5 SOL and approximately 300+ SOL in total volume on Magic Eden, maintaining a Top 100 ranking for over a week.

RETROSPECT

When SOL crashed to $8, team members departed and community activity plummeted. As a small 500-piece collection, the community was too small to recover, and the project ultimately had to be shut down. Despite the unfortunate ending, the experience of building the entire stack solo — from contracts to DApps, frontend, and bots — along with community building and cross-project collaboration in the Web3 ecosystem, became the foundation for all future projects.
